During the current alpha phase, SchoolBookAI platform operations, guided viewing, onboarding activity, and related support are handled within the operating window of 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. CET.

Students, parents, tutors, and institutions requesting access, viewing, or onboarding support should email inquiries.schoolbookai@gmail.com.

Important: Alpha access is managed and scheduled. Enquiries may be submitted at any time by email, but platform viewing, onboarding discussions, and operational support are currently conducted within the stated alpha hours.

What SBAI Tutors does

SBAI Tutors is a tutor and student recruitment agency. We recruit and match suitable tutors with suitable students, and those tutoring relationships operate through the SchoolBookAI platform during the current alpha phase.

Tutor Recruitment & Matching

We recruit, vet, and match tutors to students based on academic level, subject needs, credibility, and practical suitability. This applies across school-level and university-aligned tutoring support.

Student Recruitment & Placement

We support student intake and placement by understanding where a student is struggling, what they want to improve, and how they see themselves progressing academically.

SchoolBookAI Platform Access

Once tutors and students are appropriately onboarded, their learning relationship is supported through the SchoolBookAI platform, subject to alpha access, scheduling, and platform rules.

Tutor Registration & Vetting

Tutors are welcome to register with SBAI Tutors. All tutors are vetted for competence, accreditation, professional credibility, and practical suitability before assignment.

Who may apply

Graduates, university students, qualified professionals, and retirees with relevant academic capability are welcome to apply as tutors, subject to verification and approval.

Vetting Requirements

Tutors are vetted for competence, accreditations, and professional credibility. A valid LinkedIn profile is required as part of the verification process, together with supporting documents where applicable.

How to register as a tutor

Tutors who wish to register should submit their documents and registration details to:

  • Tutors must clearly state their competence and which subjects they are able to teach at primary school level, high school level, and university level, whichever of those are applicable.
  • The stated teaching capability must cover an entire syllabus area and not only part of a syllabus.
  • Tutors must include a brief description of themselves and explain why they see themselves as suitable tutors.
  • The following documents must be attached:
    • An attested copy of a South African ID, passport, or driver's licence. ID is preferred.
    • Your CV.
    • An attested completed qualification certificate, such as a diploma certificate or degree certificate.
    • An attested matric certificate.
  • We do not require individual subject transcripts for completed qualifications, but the accreditation submitted must be a completed accreditation.
Important commercial note: Tutors and institutions may be charged for platform-related use and placement participation. Students are not charged by SBAI Tutors for onboarding onto the platform. Any tutoring fees payable by families are agreed separately between the student or parent and the tutor.

Student Onboarding Process

Students are not assessed for accreditation or tutor-style credential checks. Student onboarding is focused on understanding academic weaknesses, improvement goals, and the most suitable path for support on the SchoolBookAI platform.

How student onboarding works

Students or parents should first email inquiries.schoolbookai@gmail.com. A response will be sent, after which a designated representative will engage further. This may be followed by a physical meeting with the parent or guardian and the student in order to understand the academic situation properly and determine the most suitable support route.

What students are assessed for

Student assessment is focused on current weaknesses, target areas for improvement, and how the student sees themselves improving. The objective is correct placement and constructive academic support, not credential vetting.

Student onboarding and SchoolBookAI alpha viewing apply within the operating time specifications listed on this page. Families requesting access, viewing, or onboarding support should use the general enquiries email and will be guided through the next steps accordingly.

Payments

Parents and students may use the secure PayPal checkout below to pay for tutoring packages. Please use the correct SBAI reference number so that your payment can be matched to the correct student and tutoring arrangement.

Important: The amount and item description are generated automatically from the fields above and sent to PayPal. Please still email your proof of payment together with the student name and reference number to payments@sbaitutors.com so that onboarding can be completed quickly.
PayPal unlocks once all fields are valid.
Card and payment details are handled by PayPal on their secure hosted checkout page. SBAI Tutors does not collect or store your card details on this page.

Required Software

For remote discussions, platform walkthroughs, onboarding meetings, and structured tutor or student engagement, users should be prepared with the required communication software and a stable internet connection.

Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is the recommended communication platform for scheduled online discussions, parent meetings where applicable, guided platform viewing, and related support activity.

Users should ensure that Microsoft Teams is installed and ready for use before scheduled online engagement. A stable internet connection is also required so that onboarding, support discussions, and platform-related communication can proceed clearly and without interruption.
